The Law Firm of Holst & Vogel was started in 1935 by Milton I. Holst and Arnold F. Vogel. In 1968 they were joined by Mr. Holst's son-in-law, Thomas A. Erdmann and Mr. Vogel's son, George F. Vogel and the firm became Holst, Vogel, Erdmann, and Vogel. Mr. Holst continued to practice until 1980, Mr. Vogel practiced until 1985 and Mr. Erdmann practiced until 2008.

On May 1, 2002, Richard D. Gorman merged with Holst, Vogel, Erdmann & Vogel and the firm became Vogel & Gorman, PLC. On May 1, 2008, Adam J. Lodermeier joined the firm. 


On July 1, 2019 the firm changed to Vogel Gorman & Lodermeier PLC


On July 1, 2021 the firm changed to Gorman & Lodermeier PLC


On November 29, 2021, Margaret "Maggie" M. Cook joined the firm and became Partner January 1, 2024.


The firm now consists of Attorneys Richard D. Gorman, Adam J. Lodermeier and Margaret "Maggie" M. Cook. 


The legal support staff includes: Karen Barry (Legal Assistant), Miranda McNamara (Legal Assistant/Bookkeeper), Victoria Borst (Receptionist) Bonnie Houle ( Legal Assistant ) and Andrea Jensen ( Legal Assistant)
